I did something super scary!
I hosted a 4 hour radio show on WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5 on my own.
This was my desk. It was an honor to be asked to host but I’ll admit it was harder than I thought it would be. I had no idea how much goes into it.
Check out all the screens…and there’s a producer next to me with his/her own bank of screens and a non-stop ringing telephone. None of this was possible without Chris & Gleniece behind the scenes!
The steady stream of callers and texts ranged from “I can’t stand the sound of her voice” to “this is the best show I’ve ever heard.”
I love that we all get to have an opinion. It’s one of the many great things about our country. It’s also absolutely essential to not take it personally.
We’re all coming from our own perspective, with our own experiences. If there’s one thing I would hope to come through in my message, it’s that we should at least listen to each other. Even if it doesn’t change our opinion.
